Shehnaaz Dance Academy is excited to bring Bollywood Dance classes to Waldo School this Winter/Spring 2024 Semester with an additional batch for Waldo’s 2nd- 5th graders. Our students will learn age appropriate choreography and have the opportunity to perform at our costumed and themed Spring Showcase 2024. Costume and participation fees for students is included in the registration fees for the semester. Please find class details below-

*Semester Fees includes fees for one costume but ticketing charges for events or shows are not included in the same.

Waldo Bollywood I

Dates- January 10th- June 14th (No Class 4/3)
Time- 3:30pm - 4:15pm
Ages- Pre K - 1st Grade
Cost- $600

Our Waldo Bollywood I class will focus on

  • learning basic stance, postures and spatial positioning

  • concentration and working as part of a team

  • musical cues/beats and timing their moves with respect to the beat

  • developing hand - leg coordination and awareness of their movements and transitions between moves. 

  • learning one 2- 2.5 minute choreography

  • being confident and expressing themselves on stage thorugh music and dance

  • Biweekly Practice Videos will be provided for at home practice.

  • Semester Fees does not include cost of costume and ticketing fees for events.
